Works commenced at Ward End Primary School, Birmingham in March 2015 coinciding with half term.

Mossvale were instructed to alter the current 'over sized' reception area in order to create 4 additional classrooms as well as the creation of a new reception area which included a new curved feature wall and reception counter at a value of £90k.

New partitioning was utilised to dissect the current area into 4, providing the school with 4 urgently required additional classrooms.  A fresh air circulation system was installed along with the upgrading of the current lighting and heating systems.  Floor finishes, complete decoration and new data communications completed the refurbishment.

Mossvale were also instructed in early May to create a new Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at a cost of £20k, which is an outdoor fenced area which will provide the children with a facility whereby a selection of sports such as basketball, football and tennis can be played.  The fencing makes it easier to keep the ball in play, at all times.

As we were working in a 'live environment' constant communication was maintained with the school regarding the programme of works, deliveries and any other elements that may have affected the normal workings of the school.
